The UK's newest venue, The Glasshouse at RHS Wisley, marketed by the events team at the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre, has confirmed its first booking for a corporate event.

Royal Horticultural Halls sales and marketing director Maugie Lyons commented: "We're really excited that Kingcombe Aquacare, which installed water features within and outside The Glasshouse, has chosen to hold a reception there".

"The reception, with drinks and canapes, will be used as an opportunity to demonstrate to our audience the work that we carried out at RHS Wisley," said John Colton, Kingcombe Aquacare's managing director.

"We created the new lake at the gardens, as well as all internal water features, including the cascade and all the hard landscaping".

The event is co-sponsored by Firestone Building Products, manufacturers of the waterproof membrane for the pond liner, lake, canal and lily pond, as well as Firestone's distributor, Gordon Low Products.

Bookings for corporate evening events at The Glasshouse can be made through the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre.
