Richard Edward launches green cards

A Richard Edward product story

Richard Edward has announced the launch of eco-friendly promotional playing cards that give promoters a visible way of demonstrating that their brand is concerned about the environment.

The 'green' cards are manufactured entirely in the UK using sustainable and recycled materials.

They can be specially designed, branded and manufactured in any size or shape to meet a specific marketing brief.

They can also be used as a versatile print medium for conveying marketing messages - for example, as a component in integrated campaigns to reinforce above-the-line advertising.

Richard Edward said it is launching the 'green' cards in response to the increasing demand for promotional products that are environmentally sound.

It pointed to a study by the Carbon Trust, which highlighted the emergence of 'low carbon consumers' who look more favourably on brands that are taking positive action to tackle climate change.

Pocket-sized and portable, the 'green' playing cards can also be used as an 'educational' medium to highlight product benefits or other messages.
