RGA launches telemarketing academy

RGA UK is to launch a specialised telemarketing training academy for sales and marketing executives of meeting and event venues.

The course will improve the student knowledge of research and identification of potential clients and improve telephone communication with corporate meeting buyers.

A one to two-day course will work alongside RGA's telemarketing specialists so the student may experience a successful telemarketing centre in operation.

Day One will focus on telemarketing for professionals, understanding telephone techniques that generate leads and identify potential clients.

Day Two is dedicated to identifying data for telemarketing and finding prospects, how to identify data for a telemarketing project and turning telemarketing into sales.

The course will encourage participants to become telemarketing coaches for their company and help the organisation improve telephone performance.

During the course, RGA will provide 10 contacts from its event organisers database for each student to telemarket and attempt to convert in to 'lead/sale' for their company.
