Event considers whether marketers over-use e-mail
Revolution Events has announced that the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) is to use Inbox/Outbox 2009 on 16-17 June 2009 in London to debate whether marketers are sending too many e-mails.
The programme details for the two-day Inbox/Outbox event, which will take place at the New Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, have also been announced.
Visitors to the event will learn how to enhance the quality of their traditional inbound and outbound e-marketing communications, as well as harness the potential of new channels, including social networking and blogging.
The event will culminate with a debate chaired by the DMA E-mail Marketing Council, discussing whether marketers are over-saturating consumers with e-mail, exploring the consequences and providing advice on best practise.
Key areas of focus for Inbox/Outbox 2009 will include: the changing face of messaging; e-marketing and database management; data protection issues; next- generation e-marketing; and enterprise 2.0 and collaborative applications.
Confirmed keynotes include representatives from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Mardev, DLA Piper and the DMA.
