Addressing for impact

A Renaddress product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Mar 25, 2008

At the IDMF, vistors can see the mailing technology that underwrites the message from specialists Renaddress that "the better the appearance, then the better the response".

The International Direct Marketing Fair takes place at Earls Court, London, on 29 April to 1 May.

Visitors to the Renaddress stand will be able to see a portfolio that embraces compact addressing units and polywrapping systems.

The former will be represented by the multi-media Rena DA 630 concept offering accurate and fast impressions with easy and quiet operation.

Typically, speeds of 30,000 envelopes or 40,000 cards per hour can be achieved in tandem with Windows and the latest fast HP inks; 76mm print depth with PPI, destination and return address is achieved in one pass and the 630 can be linked to folder/inserters and similar mailing systems.

Separate versions feature either manual or automatic adjustment and cleaning.

Material sizes can be accommodated up to 330mm high by 420mm wide; thickness of 6mm via a feeder and 18mm through the printer.

The feeder capacity is 450mm or 5kg and envelopes up to B4 - and the neat design of the Rena 630 fits into dimensions of 880mm long by 740mm wide by 330mm high.

The increasingly popular Polywrapping option is covered by the clever eclipse 550S Polybagger.

This unique system forms continuous bags from a roll and can handle anything from DL to A4 sizes, either single sheet or even a 10mm book.

Again, it is a standalone design featuring a comparatively small footprint.

Two heavy duty - and a single hand feeder - are standard equipment, and the fully automatic and integrated 550S is the first of its kind in the UK at such economic cost.
