Consultancy advises on die-cast toys for marketing

Corgi is to launch a dedicated one-stop consultancy service for companies and agencies that want to use branded die-cast toys as a targeted promotional marketing tool.

The Corgi Premiums consultancy will aim to make it easier and faster for marketers and agencies to source high-quality, bespoke die-cast toys and models for use as consumer incentives, loyalty-building collectibles, business gifts, nostalgia-based gifts, corporate merchandise, and branded retail products.

Corgi Premiums will provide an advisory service that will guide clients through the complexities of model choice, design, branding, licensing, copyright clearance, production and packaging.

The consultancy will project manage the entire product development process, from the initial creative concept to meet a client's brief, budget parameters and target market, through to pre-production samples and delivery of the finished product.

Corgi Premiums will give brands and agencies direct access to more than 7,000 Corgi toys and models, as well as more than 150 'matchbox-size' models - ideal for on-pack promotions - from Lledo.

Products available for family-orientated campaigns and nostalgia-driven promotions will include vintage vans, trucks, buses and taxis, as well as classic cars and aircraft, and a range of modern commercial vehicles.

Instead of simply adding a logo or brand colours, the Corgi Premiums consultancy will help clients to customise any model to meet the marketing objectives.

Promoters will be able to creative exclusive versions of existing products and specially designed 'limited-edition' models.

Bespoke packaging formats will also be available to suit any brand and any type of promotional mechanic or delivery method.

All customised promotional products will still carry the red Corgi logo to help brands add value to their promotional offer and to achieve greater stand-out.
