Rainbow Productions has been commissioned by Saltimbanco Italiano, a global art theatre company, to design promotional costumes.
The characters, which would subsequently be known as the Shopping Family of Dubai, were launched at the annual Dubai Summer Surprises shopping festival.
The characters include six family members: Granddad, Grandma, Mum, Dad, Son and Daughter.
These vibrantly coloured shopping centre mascots are scheduled to attend events at the Mall of the Emirates during the shopping festival.
