A Rainbow Productions product story
Edited by the Marketingweek Marketplace editorial team Jun 15, 2009

Rainbow Productions has exhibited at the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure Exhibition (DEAL), showcasing its promotional costumes to the GCC and Middle East region.

The show took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 26-28 April 2009.

During the three-day show, a character mascot called Bernie - created for Thomas Cook Northern Europe Resorts and Hotels - made special guest appearances at the official show opening, as well as greeting visitors who came onto the Rainbow Productions exhibition stand.

DEAL provided a forum to meet face-to-face with leisure clients in the region to promote licensed cartoon character appearances exclusively available to book through Rainbow Productions.

Licensed properties the company represents in the GCC for meet-and-greet personal appearances include: Bart and Homer Simpson; Yo Gabba Gabba's Brobee; Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit; Noddy and friends; the Mr Men; Fifi and Bumble; and HIT Entertainment characters such as Bob the Builder, Dennis the Menace and the Little Princess.

Rainbow Productions met with park operators, shopping mall owners and visitors from family entertainment centres to also discuss developing walkabout mascots and characters for use in stage shows.
