Quick-2-Find unveils mobile retail
search service
Quick-2-Find has launched "Find Your Nearest By Mobile", a mobile search service that allows consumers to locate their nearest outlets or stockists anywhere in the UK by text.
Using standard text messaging converted to search instructions, the service works instantly on all UK mobiles without the need for downloads or special applications, making it ideal for direct response to advertising Brand owners simply submit an Excel spreadsheet showing outlet details, which are loaded into a unique web-hosted directory
Consumers can then text the name of the product or outlet and the location they are interested in to 83211.
The unique search software will then conduct a search from that location until the nearest outlets or products are found and text the details instantly back to the consumer.
The search technology will keep looking until at least two outlets are located and outlet or product details can be edited at any time.
Multi-branch operations or limited distribution brands can now advertise nationally with a single execution simply signed off with "To find the branch or stockist nearest to you Text Brand.location to 83211".
Branch data can normally be live within 24 hours of receipt.
The set-up cost is GBP250 plus a small charge per outlet to cover annual hosting, support and editing.
All consumer data covering contact numbers and location is captured and can be used for future marketing announcements if required.
