Apteco partners Pure on email integration tool

A Pure product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Jan 18, 2008

Pure has partnered with Apteco, the marketing data analysis software provider, to launch an email marketing and database integration tool.

The exclusive integration with Apteco's complex data selection program FastStats allows marketers to instantly target people with email and SMS marketing after making detailed data modelling and analysis selections within FastStats.

The integration will enable marketers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activity by creating targeted campaigns which produce detailed real-time reporting and analysis, measured within Pure's email platform PureResponse.

Results of the campaign can then be taken from the reports section of PureResponse and fed directly back into the marketers' original database using Pure's Application INTerface (PAINT); allowing the marketer to record customer behaviour and improve the performance of future campaigns.

FastStats software, used by Barclays and the PDSA among other brands, sits on top of marketers' databases.

It can analyse past, current and prospective customers so marketers can take precise, complex selections from their database and create targeted campaigns.

A simple wizard allows FastStats users to feed data such as email, mobile numbers and personalisation directly into the PureResponse email and SMS broadcast system.

This email marketing module is an addition to the ability to export mailing addresses, meaning that marketers can now co-ordinate multi-channel campaigns from FastStats but with the added benefit of achieving real-time results.

Marc Munier, Sales Director at Pure, said: "Pure is delighted to be the first digital integration with FastStats; we advise our clients that to improve campaign response rates it is imperative they analyse their database and use the findings to target segments precisely using different messaging and approaches.

"FastStats, combined with the unique functionality of PureResponse, offers marketers a truly powerful digital tool not otherwise available in today's marketplace".

PureResponse is used by over 700 companies including EMAP and innocent drinks, and over 100 digital and creative agencies.

The email and SMS marketing software providers are particularly active within the publishing, retail and finance sectors.

Further integration will take place in 2008.

This will enable marketers to make advanced selections based on new filters and feed the information acquired from email marketing activity directly back into FastStats.

Award-winning Pure is one of the top email and SMS marketing companies in the UK, and the eleventh fastest growing new media company in the country.

Founded in 2001 by Darren Fell, Pure provides big brands and small companies with the technology, know-how and support to run effective email marketing campaigns that have a measurable, positive impact on business.

Pure's email platform, PureResponse, was created by marketers for marketers - it's used in 40 countries by over 1,200 people.

Pure counts innocent drinks, Rightmove, Truprint, Hachette Filipacchi, EMAP and the FT among its stable of over 700 clients.

Brighton-based Pure also publishes the Email Marketing Manual; a best practice website and newsletter featuring brand case studies and expert comment from high-profile digital industry faces each month, including journalist and industry guru Mark Brownlow - author of Email Marketing Reports.
