Purple Pilchard enlists two diverse clients

A Purple Pilchard product story

Purple Pilchard is pleased as punch to announce the arrival of sausage supremos Broad Oak and must-have handbag specialists Frisby Adams to its blossoming portfolio.

Broad Oak is a family business that has been making sausages for three generations.

Purple Pilchard founder co-founder Ian Hills said: "The Broad Oak role is a dream job, because we've been asked to sink our teeth into every element of the brand's marketing communications, from its overall positioning down to its packaging, PR and website strategy".

Also, following the successful arrival of Richard Linklater's Fast Food Nation film in the UK, Wizard Books has agreed to roll Ian's fictional tale for children, The Toxic Toadburger Conspiracy, out to America this September.

The thinking behind Toxic Toad, according to Hills, is to address the very real issues of child obesity and addictive fast food via a light-hearted, full-throttle adventure story as opposed to the overbearing finger-wagging techniques adopted by so many of the UK's celebrity chefs and insincere politicians.
