Pureprint Group has announced that it is one of five sheetfed printers that have been awarded print work by English Heritage.

The work awarded to Pureprint includes books and general printing and the initial contract is of a two-year duration with the option to extend for a further two years.

Books include projects like the English Heritage Historical Review, which Pureprint has recently printed.

Pureprint also performed some scanning and retouching.

As part of the general printing requirements of English Heritage, Pureprint will be included in the printing of Guide Books for English Heritage sites as well as the Conservation Bulletin quarterly magazine, a free full-colour illustrated periodical on conservation issues.

Colour and repro skills, environmental footprint and overall cost-effectiveness were key selection criteria in the tender process.
