Leeds designers light up Debenhams
Leeds-based design communications agency Purebrand Creative Communications has been commissioned to brand and design the packaging for Debenhams' new home lighting department.
Purebrand's experience in packaging and design within the retail sector, with previous projects for Gamestation, Choices, BandQ and Focus, saw the agency well placed to create the brand name, image and packaging for the range known simply as "Lighting at Debenhams" It is the retailer's first major step into home lighting and the new department comprises a range of modern and contemporary table lamps, floor lamps and decorative ceiling lights, aimed at the style-conscious consumer
Purebrand's Managing Director, Simon Ryan, commented: "We have already produced packaging and point-of-sale material for stores such as BandQ, Homebase and Focus; winning this project is testament to the creative skill and hard work put in by the team here at Purebrand.

Purebrand's winning new look for the lighting range is a striking design featuring clean crisp product images against a jet black background, whilst also incorporating a modern yet elegant new logo.
The new range is currently being trialled in 35 stores throughout the UK and it is expected to be rolled out across all stores by 2008.
Purebrand Creative Communications is a full-service creative marketing and design agency, formed in 2000 and currently employing a staff of 10.
Its client list includes OCS Group, TMD Friction, Sheffield Hallam University, Leeds City Council, Ring Lighting, Parker Hannifin Corporation, Eddisons and Q-Park.
