PRTC launches PR Training Toolbox workshop
The PR Training Centre (PRTC) has announced the PR Training Toolbox - a new half-day workshop to be held in London on 14 June 2010.
How to write a press release and how to pitch stories to editors are key topics in the 'PR Training Toolbox - A Complete PR Starter Kit in Just Half a Day'.
The short PR workshop has been designed to enable marketers to go back to their office and hit the ground running with practical PR ideas.
It will give busy PR and marketing people - or anyone tasked with responsibility for PR - the key secrets of effective writing and pitching of stories in a no-frills package in the minimum time.
The workshop teaches how to write press releases that attract attention and get used and how to sell stories to editors effectively.
It is designed for anyone tasked with engaging with print or broadcast media, or social media, to gain effective positive coverage for their organisation or their clients.
Course content includes: press releases that work, writing editorial submissions, sourcing your media targets, what editors are looking for and how to pitch your ideas.
