PRTC unveils blogging and online reputation course

The PR Training Centre (PRTC) has announced its half-day Blogs and Managing Online Reputation course, set to take place in Covent Garden, London, on 10 November 2008.

The workshop is designed for marketing and PR professionals who are called on to create or manage a corporate blog, or to engage with bloggers to protect their brand and corporate image in the blogosphere.

The half-day course will cover how to identify influential bloggers, engaging successfully with the blogosphere, understanding the corporate uses of blogging, appreciating the effects of blogging on your reputation, and strategies for managing the reputation of your company and brands on the internet.

It will also examine the impact of social networks and looks at the opportunities they present for PR.

The course will be presented by Jacqui Green, who is head of a marketing and PR agency, and Richard Milton, who is a journalist, writer and broadcaster.

The Blogs and Managing Online Reputation course costs GBP345 plus VAT (GBP295 for each subsequent delegate).
