Online digital PR course proves a winner
Online PR, a course in digital PR skills from The PR Training Centre, has proved an invaluable resource for PR agencies keen to get up to speed in every aspect of online digital media relations.
According to principal presenter Jacqui Green: "When we introduced our one-day workshop on 'How to do online digital PR', we expected it to be of interest mainly to in-house PR managers.
"But over the past three months, it has proved just as valuable training for PR agency staff in keeping ahead of the game".
PR Agency personnel who have attended the workshop have heaped praise on the course and its joint presenters.
Scott Carke of Whiteoaks Communications said: "Both Richard and Jacqui presented the course well and really explained to the room how digital marketing can benefit PR, also useful info about social networks.
"This course has opened up a number of possibilities which I will implement for my clients".
According to Chloe Handy of Fleishman-Hillard: "Learning about raising profile on Google was very useful".
"Will be bumping my clients up as of Monday", said Fiona Reece of Fiona Reece PR.
"Understanding how Digital PR is transforming the way organisations promote themselves is currently the most valuable new skill anyone in marketing and public relations should be acquiring", said Green.
"Getting online PR right can yield results that can be spectacular for any organisation and this is just as true for agency staffed tasked with getting coverage for their clients".
The one-day workshop Online Digital PR Skills will next be run in Covent Garden, London, on Friday 11 July and seats are still available.
