Packaging Innovations event hits London in October
Easyfairs has announced that the Packaging Innovations London event, to be held on 7-8 October at the Business Design Centre will feature the latest in packaging products, processes and technologies.
The packaging show will be divided into four main areas: innovative packaging; eco solutions; contract packing; and print for packaging.
One company that will display its latest packaging innovations is Plastique, which has launched Lo.G - a plastic packaging concept that protects fragile products in transit with the aid of a patented 360-deg impact-absorbing buffer system; and Flextrus Paperlite with ePET, which is suitable for packaging solutions in both the MAP food and non-food sectors.
Curtis Packaging will also be exhibiting at the show and offering its Packaging Health Check service, where it will advise brands on the steps that can be taken to make their packaging more eco-friendly, without losing shelf standout.
Curtis Packaging's sister company 3D Creative will showcase its digital prototype service, which creates lifelike mock-ups quickly and effectively.
Easibind International will highlight its range of visually active promotions for packaging and promotional applications, combining screen-based HD, 3D and animation with in-store packaging and promotions using sleeves, collars, display units and posters.
Vetroplas Packaging, a supplier of packaging to the cosmetics and personal care market, will be displaying its full range of Rexam foam dispensers at the show after recently becoming the official agent in the UK and Ireland.
It will also showcase the Rita range of caps and jar lids, which is claimed to balance a classic and timeless look with modern materials and decoration options.
Innovia Films will be demonstrating its latest compostable film Natureflex.
The Natureflex range of biodegradable cellulose-based packaging films is derived from renewable resources.
These films offer natural and organic product manufacturers the opportunity to align their packaging message with the spirit of their product marketing.
Finally, Widdowson Group will be demonstrating the contract packaging division of its business, which specialises in hand assembly, promotional pack design, reverse logistics, stretch wrapping, heat sealing, labelling and barcoding.
