EasyFairs Plastics Innovations will take place in Ireland on 6-7 February 2008 and focus on strong growth areas, including the medical, pharmaceutical, electronic and packaging sectors.

At 6 per cent per annum, the Irish plastics industry is enjoying one of the fastest growth rates in Europe and now has its own dedicated exhibition in Dublin thanks to easyFairs, Europe's leading organiser of time- and cost-effective trade shows With strong levels of inward foreign investment and high value engineering polymers accounting for 75 per cent of the market, Ireland is the rising star when it comes to added value plastics processing

Targeting this vibrant market, and following the successful launch of the easyFairs Plastics Innovations in Coventry this year, easyFairs Plastics Innovations Ireland 2008 will be a highly focused exhibition - and the first in ten years to bring manufacturers and suppliers face to face with production and management professionals from Ireland's plastics processing operations.

It will also provide an invaluable learning forum, thanks to free and independent learnShops that are a key feature of every easyFairs show.

Already 50 per cent sold, the event will focus on strong growth areas, including the medical, pharmaceutical, electronic and packaging sectors, showcasing all that is new in polymer and composite technology from the likes of Albis, Ashland, Resin Express and Ultra Polymers, and the very latest in energy efficient machinery and automation from Davis Standard of America, Demag, Engel, Motan, Sandretto and Total Polymer Solutions.

Visitors will also be able to see and touch 21st century robotic technology from market leaders, including Fanuc, Geiger and Sytrama, check out the most up-to-date monitoring and control systems and ancillary equipment and, of course, enjoy the opportunity to network in one of Europe's most sociable cities.

An ideal location, the RDS Centre in Dublin is within two hours travel of 90 per cent of the plastics processing operations in Ireland.

EasyFairs is also making it easier to get to the best show in town by providing free coaches and minibuses from all corners of Ireland.

Exhibitors and visitors alike will also get all the other benefits of the easyFairs approach, including convenient and cost-effective all-inclusive stand packages and free learnShops sessions on the hottest topics.

There will be top industry speakers from leading companies and organisations, including the Irish medical manufacturing sector, academia and financial investment houses such as Bank of America.

There is strong support for the event from key organisations, including the Polymers Processing Resource Centre, the Northern Ireland Polymer Association, First Polymer Training and IOM3-Athlone.

Pre-registration figures are also good, with many key buyers in Ireland already preparing to attend.
