P and MM reports Spree Card popularity

A PandMM product story

P and MM has announced that a total of GBP4m has been spent on Spree Cards in circulation in 2008, and expects to see a three-fold increase in 2009.

The company added that it has noted a 300 per cent increase in Spree Card use overall since its inception in 2007.

Spree Card technology is used as part of employee incentive programmes, incentive rewards, bonus and commission payments and as part of wider employee benefits schemes.

The card, which can be fully branded in line with a motivation scheme, has funds loaded onto it either by the employer as a regular payment or by the employee as and when they choose.

Users can then spend the pre-loaded funds wherever the Mastercard or Visa signs are displayed, making the Spree Card a flexible tool in employee motivation strategies.

It is the ability to track data that has been a significant factor in the growth in popularity of card programmes, as this offers an important method of measuring the success of a scheme.

Spree Cards come as white-label products that can be integrated into an organisation's employee motivation programme.

They aid in promoting company values, improving staff loyalty, motivation and retention.
