PandMM launches events budget control card

PandMM has launched a budget control card for the events industry using its Spree Card technology - a prepaid Visa debit card branded in the image of the company or campaign.

The Spree Card can facilitate managing expenses for any event type.

It can be issued to staff, delegates or journalists who would otherwise be given a cash advance or incur debt that would have to be repaid.

The cards are pre-loaded with funds to cover off-site costs such as hospitality and refuelling expenses and has the option of being restricted to selected merchants for tighter budget management.

It has been designed to offer a convenient safe payment mechanism that can be accurately tracked by event organisers without the risk of running over budget or into debt.

Nigel Cooper, executive director of PandMM, commented: "We have evidence that the Spree Card offers a new level of convenience and usability having piloted the technology during Land Rover's recent pan-European 4x4 launch.

"The proposition of having a card branded in the image of the campaign or company adds great value to any event - iIt creates positive reinforcement every time a purchase is made in addition to the convenience of the widely accepted Visa payment platform".

The Spree Card was first launched by PandMM in 2006 as a platform for delivering incentive rewards, bonus and commission payments for major blue-chip UK organisations.

The card has been designed to deliver significant benefits to the corporate sponsor and to holds maximum appeal to the cardholder.
