Internet marketing laid bare
The secrets to empowering a website, winning top rankings on search engines and securing record hits to corporate websites are to be unveiled at an event next week.
Hosted by the PM (Professional Marketing) Forum in the West Midlands, the event will give unprecedented access to the 'tricks of the trade' from keynote speaker Amanda Barnes, head of the digital division at Birmingham-based marketing and communications agency, M Consulting.
"The Forum has pledged to deliver practical, valuable information and advice to its members, and this, the first event in our 2008 calendar has all the components to do exactly this," said PM Forum Regional Director in the West Midlands, Hilary Campton.
Barnes runs M Consulting's digital and search division, which includes the organisation and management of online marketing campaigns for both natural and paid search, in addition to website usability, visitor intake and online ROI.
Speaking ahead of the PM Forum event, she said: "The objective is to open the door for the region's professional services marketers and business development individuals to gain an invaluable insight into the strategies for improving business marketing through their websites.
"We will also look at the essential standards that business websites should be meeting, and offer some tips on the elements that will empower a website to improve brand awareness, receive higher rank results, and gain more visitors and enquiries".
The event, hosted by Bevan Brittan, takes place on Wednesday 19 March 2008, and is open to members of the PM Forum and their guests.
