PLANarama designs, builds and installs retail windows and in-store displays, exhibition stands and events - we love what we do and it shows in the work that we produce.

PLANarama understands the retail market is a competitive place; that's the reason it provides the creativity, skills and knowhow you need to make the most of your high street presence and stand out from the crowd, attracting attention to your brand The start of 2007 brought a new challenge to our door in the form of a BBC TV series

Mary Portas, retail marketing guru, teamed up with Optomen TV to create Mary Queen of Shops, a show where four struggling independent retailers benefited from her advice, expertise and a mak-over in order to improve business.

In conjunction with Mary Portas and her company Yellow Door we were involved in the interior and window design of each project along with the implementation and production.

We have just installed the windows at French Connection for a merchandiding tie-in with the new Transformers film.

By 2008 we will have our Hong Kong office open, enabling us to source directly from China and giving us the opportunity to export British design to the expanding Asian markets.

We're not the only ones who think our work is great.

Over the years we've picked up a few awards which we're really proud of.

Our industry isn't big on awards, so when we are recognised by our peers, it means a lot to us.

Retail Visual Merchandising Awards: Best Graphic Window 2006 - Carphone Warehouse Pink Razr Phone Launch.

Best In Store VM Solution 2005- House of Fraser.

Best Overall Window 2005 - Asprey.

Clients include Marks and Spencer, Cartier, Carphone Warehouse, Ted Baker, Boots, Virgin Atlantic, Gieves and Hawkes, SPACE.NK, The Body Shop, French Connection, Westworld, Office, Principles.

We have worked with MandS since 2002 and have done a variety of concepts for them including a scheme to mark the launch of their 2007 summer collection for the flagship store at Marble Arch.

Myleene Klass made a personnel appearance in the window which created great media interest.

We have worked with Carphone Warehouse for six years; they continue to present opportunities for us to explore our ingenuity and originality.

Our Christmas schemes reach 700+ stores nationwide and we design exhibition stands for internal events.

In 2006 we won Best Graphic Window for the Pink RAZR Launch at the RVM awards.

Gieves and Hawkes' Creative Director and PLANarama liaise closely to develop schemes for stores nationwide through the year.

We are responsible for the design right through to installation.

The theme of one window was based on global travel to reflect the seasonal clothing range of Gieves and Hawkes.

Stamps are an icon for travel and were used to create a mosaic of graded colour across a map of the world.

Over 80,000 real (used) worldwide stamps were applied to laser cut MDF which was then fixed directly to the back wall.

The raised aspect of the maps gave a three-dimensional feel to the window.

The scheme appeared in eight stores nationwide.
