PrintWorks offers print management consultancy
Pitney Bowes Management Services has launched PrintWorks, a consultancy approach to print management designed to eliminate inefficiencies and bring cost-saving process improvements.
In many offices, the lack of an overall print strategy, coupled with outdated technology, is typical.
Decisions regarding the quantity, placement and capability of print devices such as desktop printers, copiers and fax machines are often left to individual departments.
Addressing these business issues can save businesses as much as 30 per cent on their print-related costs while significantly boosting productivity.
PrintWorks, from document process outsourcing specialist Pitney Bowes Management Services, gives businesses visibility of their entire operation and provides a holistic plan to ensure print capabilities match specific needs.
Overall print spend can be tracked through consolidated reporting, and cost-saving measures like non-OEM consumables and preventative on-site maintenance can be introduced to avoid costly repairs.
During particularly heavy print volume peaks the PrintWorks solution can also include the additional security and capacity provided by affiliate off-site print centres.
