The systems web-based, user-friendly interface gives users control of messaging, white space use, workflow, timeframes, content and priorities.
Rich, Microsoft Word-like editing and workflow functions take place in a standard web browser and the client can be directly incorporated into existing portals if required.
Review and approval workflow is built into the system and is activated using email notifications.
"Creating dynamic customer documents and embedding targeted messages in statements can be a highly effective marketing tactic," said Alan Slater, vice president and general manager of Customer Communications Management (CCM) for Group 1 Software.
"Content Author from Group 1 Software provides a fast, easy way to create dynamic messages with a built-in workflow that manages the messages through the approval, collaboration and production process".
Messages are housed in a server-based library, so users can author and review messages remotely as well as share messages in their domain.
Creating and storing message content separately helps maintain the integrity of the underlying document applications.
Work areas and standard resources are defined and made available by an administrator function.
DOC1 Series 5 is a cornerstone component of Group 1 Software's Customer Communication Management (CCM) suite, which simplifies the gathering and manipulation of data, streamlines document creation and distribution, and ensures that information is accessible and secure.
DOC1 Series 5 enables businesses to easily design and generate high-volume, personalised communications for multichannel delivery.
