Leading design consultancy Pemberton and Whitefoord has created a new range of three Absinthe products retailing under Wine and Spirit International's Hapsburg brand range.

Wine and Spirit International has reformulated its Absinthe product range and revised the image, which encapsulates the era when absinthe was the tipple of choice for Europe's decadent stylish young things (perhaps best summed up in Hemingway's classic novel Fiesta) The products vary in strength from 72.5 per cent to 89.9 per cent making the premium (gold) version the strongest absinthe in the world

Adrian Whitefoord of Pemberton and Whitefoord commented: "The perfect centre cameo for the label was found in the form of an original painting owned by Wine and Spirit International Managing Director Dale Sklar.

"The image depicts a "lady", with rather flamboyant dress sense, precariously seated outside a Parisian cafe enjoying a generous measure (possibly not her first) of the fiery fluid.

"The label shape, typography and colours add to the period feel and empathise perfectly with the elegant bottle".
