It uses blacklists and white lists to prevent access to websites used for phishing or identity theft, or which could download threats onto computers.
These lists are continually updated from Panda Software's servers.
Existing Panda Internet Security 2007 clients can download the new version free.
Panda Internet Security 2007 protects against identity theft, online fraud and theft of bank details.
It also includes protection against viruses, spyware, hackers and other internet threats.
It doubles the security of PCs with TruPrevent Technologies, protecting against unknown viruses and intruders.
Panda Internet Security 2007 is sold with licenses for up to 3 PCs for £42.99, with 12 months' service.
