The Oxford College of Marketing, specialists in CIM professional qualifications and short marketing courses, has marked the end of its 10th anniversary year with the opening of a new study venue.

Operating out of the Hilton London Gatwick Airport, the new training venue will offer intensive weekend courses to support distance learning students in the UK and worldwide, as well as students enrolled on lecture programmes Principal of the Oxford College of Marketing Rosie Phipps said: "Oxford College of Marketing has gone from humble beginnings with a 1997 register of just 35 students, to seven centres nationwide - Gatwick, Oxford, Reading, Brighton, London, Sheffield and Liverpool - and an international register

"Some 2,500 students have passed through our doors and we look forward to helping many more professionals further their careers in the years to come".

The opening of the study venue marks a new focus on the international market where CIM qualifications have an established and growing reputation.

Phipps said: "We have had students from many countries - Europe, of course, but as far away as East Timor, China, Uruguay and the Falkland Islands.

"We hope to be able to help more overseas students pass their CIM training exams now they can learn in the comfort of their own home and step off the plane straight into the classroom for intensive tuition when they need it".

A college run by professional marketers for marketers, Oxford College of Marketing has some of the best Chartered Institute of Marketing results in the UK with an overall pass rate of 89.5 per cent (UK average 58.44 per cent).

It now also offers a range of CIM and short one-day marketing courses to some of the countries leading employers.

Oxford College of Marketing employs five staff and 70 part time professional teachers and trainers.
