Oridian to power Hitflip UK ad traffic

Online ad network Oridian is to sell traffic for top swap site Hitflip.co.uk.

Oridian, the largest privately owned advertising network, and Hitflip Media Trading, Europe's top swapping site, have announced an exclusive partnership for UK traffic.

Oridian is one of the top 10 international advertising networks worldwide with reach that exceeds 140 million unique users per month - more than 80 million in the EU alone.

Oridian bridges between advertisers and publishers around the world to bring international advertisers to US publishers and quality global media to advertisers overall.

Hitflip runs Europe's biggest swapping platform for the exchange of DVDs, music CDs, games, books and audio books.

Founded in 2005 in Germany, it currently boasts more than 300,000 users offering to exchange 125,000 different DVDs, 20,000 audio books and plays, more than 40,000 games, 65,000 books and 85,000 music CDs.

Joining Hitflip takes less than 30 seconds, with no subscription required - the goal is to make swapping as easy and secure as possible.

Jacob Nizri, CEO of Oridian, said: "Hitflip has exclusively recruited Oridian as a partner for selling its UK IP-targeted ad inventory.

Swapping is gaining in popularity across Europe.

According to ComScore, the UK online retail sector attracted 29 million unique visitors in October 2007, or 89 per cent of the total online user base in that month, with sites offering both new and used merchandise topping the list.
