Pay per click management agency Open Eye Marketing delivered over ten million ad impressions a day in October on Google, Yahoo, MSN and the other major search engines.

These ads were triggered by keyword searches as diverse as 'Mayfair hotel' and 'property in Torrevieja' What makes this even more remarkable is that some of its clients have monthly budgets of less than GBP100

MD Andy Maclean said: "Pay per click provides small and medium-sized businesses with a very cost-effective way to promote themselves in what are in reality the world's biggest media, the search engines.

"With pay per click you don't pay for the coverage and ad impressions, you only pay per click or per visitor they receive as a result of seeing your ads.

"There is no way a business can get this volume of exposure or traffic at this cost via any other medium".
