Insight Show uses OnePoint mobile surverys
OnePoint mobile surveys are to be used to provide instant visitor feedback at the Insight Show, which takes place on 20-21 November 2007 at Earls Court, London.
Snaith will discuss the advantages of mobile research, such as its immediacy and accuracy, as well as explain how OnePoint has developed mobile survey technology that goes far beyond the simple two-way communication of text messaging.
The use of mobile surveys enabled ITV to engage with viewers before; during and after 2006 World Cup football matches when no other research intrusion would have been accepted by viewers.
Jason Brownlee, research director of Other Lines of Enquiry, and ITV's head of commercial research, Sarah Messer, will also be speaking at the session and will share the results of this mobile research.
"We discovered a reliable and effective way of measuring engagement with television content by monitoring psychological symptoms of engagement", said Brownlee.
"The use of mobile surveys to interview respondents enabled us to elicit live responses about viewer excitement, interest, attention and involvement".
Snaith's session is designed to be interactive and the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a live mobile survey; and see their responses appearing in real-time, on screen.
OnePoint Surveys will also be exhibiting at the event at stand 500.
