NSDesign launches green web hosting
Glasgow-based business internet company NSDesign has partnered with Tree Appeal to launch a green web hosting package, aimed at its environmentally conscious client base.
The new "Go Green" initiative allows customers to pay an optional GBP5 contribution, which is matched by NSDesign, allowing the planting of one native broad-leaved tree such as oak, beech and ash Managing Director Gary Ennis said: "We've always been highly focused on enviromentally friendly business practices like choosing to host our web servers in a carbon neutral data centre or recently offsetting our entire carbon footprint, and our Go Green campaign allows our customers to get involved, and help put something back into the environment"

NSDesign has been helping businesses and organisations maximise their success online since 1999, and is now based at the award winning Hillington Park Innovation Centre.
Th agency designs innovative products and services that allow clients to do things better on the web, ranging from initial domain name registration and web hosting, to custom web development, e-commerce systems, internet marketing and training, and deliver these solutions to a range of clients from start-up companies to government bodies and universities.
It focuses strongly on accessibility and usability, providing the tools to empower users with full control over their accounts, backed by in-house expertise to rely on when required.
The innovative NSBuilder System (an online website builder and content management system) was twice shortlisted for "best product" in the Scottish Software Awards, and is now being used as part of a training course aimed at SMEs and funded by Glasgow City Council.
