Web builder course wins council funding
Glasgow City Council has agreed to continue funding local SME companies attending an innovative web training course run by Glasgow design and consultancy firm NSDesign.
Eligible companies will receive 50 per cent funding towards the course, which gives participants an understanding of what's involved in designing a website, including learning how to write effective content, search engine optimisation, and web accessibility.
Everyone attending will leave with a fully working, professional, accessible website, built using the acclaimed NSBuilder system.
The next session (run over two mornings) has been confirmed as the 20 and 27 November 2007, with further dates confirmed for March 2008.
