ModernSelling.com launches Sales Team Incentive

After a successful first year attracting 90,000 sales team leaders to its new sales information site and e-newsletter service, ModernSelling.com has introduced an incentive prize draw.

The prizes on offer include a private plane whisking six lucky winners over to a French chateau for a truly free lunch to remember, with equally exciting and motivational alternatives like a chauffeured-limo night on the town, 4x4 adventure, day at the races, surfing weekend in Cornwall or, for the truly rugged brigade, a survival weekend in Brecon Beacons.

Commenting on the initiative, Publisher Neil Warren said: "We are absolutely delighted with the interest we have received from the UK's sales management.

"Tens of thousands of them are already making a habit of picking up information from our ever-increasing range of news and feature-length articles - perhaps not surprising when there is such a wealth of information, contributed by nationally renowned journalists, experts and thought leaders covering all the different areas of interest to sales team leaders".

He continued: "However, it was always our intention to include sales tips, advice and information which would also be of use to sales professionals at every level, from trainee telesales to international key account handler.

"We look at myriad issues that help to create a fully qualified and experienced sales person, from personal presentation, motivation and academic or vocational skills, through to the tools needed to make selling easier and more successful, be that a better cold-calling or PowerPoint technique through to more efficient and stylish cars or computers.

"We see the levels of interest in all these areas from the thousands of clicks a month that go through our banner advertisers and Directory of Suppliers - listing hundreds of individually vetted firms, so it's really now just a question of spreading the word - to enable more and more of the "coal-face" workers to pick up on the benefits ModernSelling.com can offer.

"We also felt it was important to practice what we preach, so were delighted to team up with professional incentive providers Active Consultancy to be able to offer these prizes - sufficient incentive, we believe, to get sales people to break with their busy schedules for a moment - and we're confident that the lucky winners, any team of six sales colleagues or associates, will have a memorable and motivational time".

The prize draw was launched last week and is open until 31 December 2007, with entry requirements being simply the submission of an email through the site confirming the six registered readers to be entered.
