Training course covers online PR strategy
New Venture Publishing has announced a day-long training course for PR professionals who want to develop an online PR strategy.
The first two dates for the Perfect Online PR Masterclass are set for 23 February and 18 May 2010, and will be jointly presented by Jo Lynn, a PR professional who advises online brands about PR strategy, and Keren Lerner, a specialist in website design, e-newsletters, blogging and social media tools.
The course covers online PR strategy, managing an online presence, running a website media centre and measuring the impact of online PR campaigns.
It provides a high-level overview of e-newsletters, blogging, social news sites, e-broadcasting and social community networks.
The course is aimed at PR and marketing professionals who want to develop an online PR strategy for their own organisation and PR consultants in agencies that want to enhance the online PR service they offer to clients.
The Perfect Online PR Masterclass comes with an e-book that contains comprehensive course notes together with weblinks to useful resources for those who want to learn more about online PR.
Online booking is open on New Venture Publishing's website.
The practical interactive course is based on a study of how 107 companies and not-for-profit organisations are using online PR now - and their priorities for the future.
