Neutralize set to join Notabene.net
Scandinavia's leading agency in online marketing, Notabene.net, has acquired Neutralize for its expertise in Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing.
Neutralize is one of the most high-profile companies in the UK market in the field of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), participating regularly in the preparation of analysis of the UK and European search engine markets.
Neutralize specialises in the field of PPC (Pay-Per-Click) Search Engine Advertising, which accounts for 20 per cent of the business basis, and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), which accounts for 80 per cent of the business basis, and provides services to a wide range of large companies both in the UK market and globally.
Neutralize services customers like Black and Decker, DeWalt, ebuyer, Messagelabs, CNET UK, London Stock Exchange, Nestle and others, and is both a Google Qualified Company and Google Enterprise Partner licensed to resell Google search technology.
Neutralize has developed a unique tool, Ascendex, that can spider sites in exactly the same way as a search engine would and identify critical SEO issues in one hit.
This automated system is highly efficient and therefore saves valuable time on projects and is proving to be highly desirable for brands with large sites.
Neutralize was established in 1999 by Lucy Cokes and Edward Cowell and since then has grown to employ a staff of 23 at the Cornwall headquarters.
Notabene.net's management is confident that the acquisition of the Neutralize creates a strong basis for Notabene.net's long-held ambition to become a North European player in the market for online marketing.
The acquisition also makes Notabene.net an even more outstanding player in the UK market in the field of SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and enables the company to be directly ahead of other players in one of Europe's most developed state-of-the-art search engine markets.
"Through our acquisition of Neutralize, which is one of the best UK providers of SEO, we have paved the way for Notabene.net to take another great step forward to become one of the five largest players in the field of online marketing in the UK market, so we are delighted that the final details are now in place - especially as the takeover offers great opportunities and synergies of scale with our existing business in the UK", said Brian Mertz Pedersen, CEO of Notabene.net.
The founders of Neutralize, Lucy Cokes and Edward Cowell, continue to serve on the Executive Board/Management of Neutralize, and Cowell will be included in the Notabene.net team on the development of products and business areas across the boundaries of the Notabene.net group of companies.
"We are looking forward to working with Notabene, and being part of a group of like-minded specialist search marketing companies - we feel this partnership will enhance the service offering to our clients, our ability to knowledge share and grow the business", said Cokes, Managing Director of Neutralize.
A new board comprising the Chairman of Notabene.net, Ole Sigetty, Attorney-at-Law, Brian Mertz Pedersen, the CEO of Notabene.net, Graeme Radford, the CEO of Guava along with Cokes and Cowell of Neutralize is to take office.
In addition, the company's financial adviser, Olivier Garrigue, joins the board as Notabene.net's representative.
