Academy offers cost-effective online learning

Academy is a web-based learning facility developed by construction technical information and communication specialists NBAT in conjunction with The Construction CPD Certification Service.

Initially developed for construction CPD presentations, Academy can nonetheless be used for any online learning.

For providers, it greatly increases potential exposure of presentations, making them available to any individual, but most notably small or inaccessible practices, on demand.

Available in practical learning modules, they can be viewed at the individual's pace, while offering the opportunity to view more than one presentation in a session.

Each course is validated by a mandatory interactive examination, with a bank of questions being held to ensure that random rotation prevents misuse.

Statistical information on all aspects of performance is then available to the CPD provider.

For individual CPD administration, information is also retained on all courses completed, so he/she needs keep no personal records.

Academy has been designed to operate on a separate server administered by NBAT, so presentations will operate efficiently whatever their file size.

Any commonly used software is acceptable, while for an added touch, professionally produced voice-overs can be provided cost effectively.
