Wheelabrator turns to Native

A Native Marketing product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Jul 23, 2007

Manchester-based integrated B2B marketing agency Native has been commissioned to design the 2008 centenary logo for the Wheelabrator Group.

The Wheelabrator Group is a designer and manufacturer of surface preparation equipment, providing air, wheel and wet blasting equipment and services for industries including automotive, aerospace and construction.

The group appointed Native to develop a 100th anniversary logo which would appeal to the needs and aspirations of its broad mix of blue-chip customers, which include General Motors and Rolls-Royce.

Vanessa Riding, Wheelabrator's global marketing manager, commented: "When we were looking for an agency to develop the creative for our centenary logo, Native was the obvious choice - we have been very impressed with their unique approach to identity development and the enthusiasm and passion they have demonstrated in delivering this project has been particularly refreshing".

Native's managing director, Colin Sneath, added: "We are delighted to have had the opportunity to work alongside yet another global player such as Wheelabrator to increase the awareness and reputation of its brand amongst its high-profile client base.

"We are thoroughly looking forward to working on more creative briefs from Wheelabrator in the future".

Native was appointed by Wheelabrator's marketing team following their attendance at one of the agency's new marketing thinking seminars, which are designed to challenge the way marketers think about their company branding and communications.
