Mushroom helps organise charity networking event

Mushroom Marketing is one of four companies helping to organise this year's 'Speednetworking the Nation', part of national Enterprise Week.

The annual event will be held on Friday 16 November at AFC Bournemouth with all profit being donated to local children's charity, 'Help a Local Child'.

Mushroom Marketing is working alongside Easytax Accountants, Launch Sales Development and Office Jollies to provide PR and marketing support in addition to helping with the organisation and running of the event.

Emma Ansell from Mushroom Marketing commented: "It's great to get involved in speed networking particularly as it is for a good cause but also offers local companies the opportunity to network at an event with a difference".

She added: "This is the first year I have been involved and we hope to make it even bigger and better than last year".

All local businesses whether large or small are invited to take part in an event that will be a productive, fast-paced way to meet up to 150 local businesses whether they are looking for a new supplier, trying to increase awareness of their services or looking to gain new business.

The format of the day will include registration and open networking from 11-12; facilitated speednetworking from 12-1; then more open networking over wine and a finger buffet from 1-3pm.

Tickets cost GBP15, which include coffee/tea on arrival, a finger buffet and glass of wine; up to 30 exhibition stands are also available at GBP47 each on a first-come-first-served basis.

The 'Speednetworking the Nation' event, sponsored by Lloyds TSB, is taking place as part of national Enterprise Week (12-18 November 2007), the biggest annual celebration of all things enterprising across the UK.

The week is run by the national Make Your Mark campaign, which aims to kick-start a more enterprising culture amongst young people in the UK.

Last year over 448,000 people took part in over 3,184 events nationwide, some 44 per cent more than the previous year.
