3M Touch Systems has announced it will exhibit its portfolio of touch monitors and sensors at KioskCom Europe, at London's Olympia on 1-2 October 2008.

3M Touch Screens' products are aimed at the self-service kiosk, ATM, retail point-of-sale, point of information and digital signage markets.

Highlights at KioskCom will include a large format MicroTouch Dispersive Signage Technology (DST) touch monitor, the MicroTouch CT150 and M170 LCD touch monitors.

The 40in NEC TFT touch monitor solution incorporating DST touch screen and controller will be demonstrated at the expo.

3M Touch Systems said DST touch screens are robust and easy to integrate with fast, accurate and reliable touch response and light transmission.

Designed for large-format interactive displays in a range of out-of-home environments, key applications for DST include conference rooms, education establishments, financial exchanges, retail signage and billboards, transportation, and other varied indoor venues such as casino hospitality, trade shows, clubs and restaurants.

The CT150 15-in touch monitor features MicroTouch ClearTek II capacitive touch screen technology from 3M.

It includes a 500:1 contrast ratio LCD display module that can be print-colour matched, making it an ideal choice for photo-kiosk applications.

The CT150 is flexible and easy to use and configure.

Kiosk designers also benefit from the screen's durability and resistance to dirt, liquid spills and abrasion.

Stand visitors will also be offered the chance to win an M170 17-inch LCD touch monitor.

It has a slim design with tidy cable management and a hidden power supply in the base making it ideal for bar top, retail, hospitality and leisure environments.

It features maximum touch stability as well as a peripheral attachment system, locking mechanism, adjustable display angle, and various mounting options.
