Boost Juice Bars UK, the new healthy fast food alternative, is screening colourful, energetic promotional content at its outlets nationwide using digital signage software from 3M.

Rapidly updated multimedia material, generated in Australia but displayed on screens globally, is central to the welcoming and inspiring Boost Customer Experience, which takes place every time a customer visits a store.

Originating from Australia, Boost Juice Bars has a 200-strong international network of stores spanning South East Asia, South Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South America.

To support this expansion, Boost Juice has adopted 3M Digital Signage software for its global network of screens and is now rolling out the network in the UK, starting with new stores in Manchester and Oxford.

"3M Digital Signage is a powerful tool to create movement and colour and builds the vibe in all Boost Juice bars worldwide," explained Steph Malkin, Marketing Director, Boost Juice Bars UK.

"This adds to the unique experience we offer and keeps our customers up to speed with the world of Boost.

"We are also able to rapidly update all outlets, worldwide, with consistent imaging and messages, which has helped the brand grow quickly on an international level".

Boost Juice Bars has its own internal creative department based at its headquarters in Victoria, Australia, which is responsible for in-store materials used in all its bars in the country and now worldwide.

3M Digital Signage software is ideal for global networks such as this because of its scalability, internet-based connectivity and hosted-server architecture.

The software allows the creatives to combine briefs from all country directors with the brand's core marketing themes, customise content for national markets, and distribute the material quickly and efficiently to each store worldwide with a click of a button.

The software operates with large plasma screens located in the stores, supporting fast moving graphics, text and video.

The software also allows direct monitoring of all screens and players globally so that, should any problems arise, the team in Australia is alerted instantly and can use remote diagnostic tools to identify and fix the issue rapidly.

As the director of marketing activities in the UK, Malkin works with the head office in Australia to develop messages and creative themes for the UK stores.

The content is revised on a fortnightly basis.

"We have to work quickly to keep our bars up to date with news and offers, and our digital signage network driven by 3M software is already proving effective, bringing UK customers into the global Boost family," she added.

Another new Boost Juice bar will be opening shortly in Nottingham and 3M Digital Signage will be used to link the new outlet quickly into the UK and international network.

Having achieved rapid early international growth using digital signage, Boost Juice Bars asked 3M to show that it could meet ambitious functional requirements within a tight timeline for the new UK operation.

"This allowed us to demonstrate the full features and capabilities of our software and support infrastructure," said Simon Birkenhead, Sales and Marketing Manager, 3M Digital Signage Division.

"We delivered a complete solution, including managing the installation and commissioning processes, in order to provide the exciting, dynamic communication tools Steph and her team need to secure the brand's success in the UK.

"This project demonstrates the advantage of 3M's presence in over 60 countries around the world for managing global rollouts for customers such as Boost Juice Bars - something that few other digital signage providers can offer.".
