Blue Planet Aquarium launches mobile
marketing
Blue Planet Aquarium, part of Deep-Sea Leisure, has launched its 2008 press and billboard ad campaign using mobile marketing technology txt2, developed and operated by MPP Global Solutions.
Using text messaging, today's most prolific communication medium, txt2 provides the aquarium with a 24/7 SMS response channel on advertising, marketing and promotional collateral The fully automated process enables potential visitors to interact with advertisements and request further information whilst sitting on a bus, train or in their local Starbucks

The aquarium will also be setting up a fully integrated WAP site, which will be similar to the current online portal.
Using MPP's txt2wap service customers will be able to send a text message to receive the WAP link (WAP site address) and access the WAP site in a matter of seconds through their mobile phone.

The service works by customers responding to the Blue Planet Aquarium advert by texting FROGS to 82540.
The customer will then receive an immediate text response and further interacts with the Deep-Sea Leisure brand.
All consumer data and tracking is logged and accessible by Blue Planet Aquarium to send complimentary information to the consumer in the future.
