Mida Sign Services offers clients various installation services for signage, graphics and promotional items.

Celebrating 25 years in the business, Mike Smith, managing director of Mida Sign Services, said: 'Our work has become extremely varied, especially with digital print and graphics, which we install onto glazing, floors, walls and vehicles and more.

'We also install banners from large one-offs, to promotional roll-out programmes.

Safety issues have become more important, according to Smith.

Site work requires risk assessments and method statements, engineers must be qualified and have CSCS, IPAF, PASMA and first-aid training, and the company has to be accredited by an approved contractor for health and safety standards, as well as being a member of the British Sign and Graphics Association.

Smith added: 'On the signage side we install a lot of large illuminated flex face signage, and built-up internally illuminated letters with LEDs.
