MediaVest is the UK's largest independent agency and a top 15 media specialist which last year became the first non-London-based media specialist to attain a GBP200m turnover.

In 1994, MediaVest Manchester consisted of only a handful of individuals, each brought together with the same vision; to create a leading independent media agency.

Today, MediaVest is the largest independent agency in the UK and the first non-London-based media specialist to attain the GBP200m turnover landmark.

Due to this success and the rapidly changing environment in which it operates, MediaVest Manchester now feels it is time to position the agency in its rightful place.

April sees the media planning and buying agency unveil a new identity, repositioning the company through a new brand, aesthetic and evolved company philosophy.

"By nature of our location, we are often referred to as a regional agency", said Managing Partner Andy Jeal.

"We now feel it is time to take a step away from this regional definition and present ourselves as the national media agency we are".

Marking a number of significant changes for the independent agency, the new brand directly reflects the expansion and success the company has enjoyed during its 14-year history.

The most significant alteration sees MediaVest Manchester drop the regional reference in its brand, now to be known simply, as MediaVest.

Previously branded under the MediaVest Manchester circular, target style logo with an associated ethos of service, thinking and performance, from launch, MediaVest will refresh both these areas of the business.

The agency has assigned a designated statement of intent, encapsulating the inspiration which lies at the core of the new brand.

"We 'Get Great Results'," added Lucas, "there is no clearer way of defining our no-nonsense, accountable, results-driven approach to media planning and buying.

"We are a collection of individuals who are passionate about media and who share the same objectives and targets: ultimately, to Get Great Results for every one of our clients".

The new MediaVest logo and associated Get Great Results motto will be supported by distinctive imagery.

"The visual look is powerful and clever," added Marketing Manager Neil Henderson, "it has a quirky collage feel and masses of personality, it's also incredibly fun to use.

"The design directly reflects what we do; collating information and opportunities relating to specific and different pieces of media for our clients, and pulling together the best bits to create a new and inspiring piece of work".

The brand attributes and related imagery are exhibited no more clearly than in the new MediaVest website, in particular, the two-minute introduction.

"The website has been totally refreshed and now includes a two-minute introduction which outlines everything that the Get Great Results brand represents", said MediaVest Strategy Director John Mathieson.

"It's direct, engaging and gives you only the information you need to know; the emphasis is firmly placed on talking to us".

"The new brand and 'Get Great Results' philosophy will effect every communication touchpoint of our business" added Jeal, "on an internal and external level.

"We believe our product and our people are first class, it's time to tell people about it".

MediaVest is the UK's leading independent media specialist, with billings c.GBP203m.

Established in 1994 and now employing 198 people in Manchester, the agency has recently rebranded, launching a philosophy encapsulated by "Get Great Results".
