Concourse Initiatives, the Media Initiatives Group's outdoor and ambient arm, has secured a 12-month sponsorship of Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway train stations for MyJobGroup.

The deal was brokered through My Job Group's advertising agency - ON TV and Radio.

MyJobGroup is a national online recruitment company with a network of 46 regional jobsites across the UK designed to offer local jobseekers access to opportunities in their local area.

The high-profile sponsorship by My Bristol Jobs (www.mybristoljobs.co.uk) is the latest campaign by MyJobGroup to promote regional sites around the UK.

Localised branding will be extended to Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Haymarket to promote the Scottish offices before moving onto other stations nationwide.

The contract covers the branding of target stations, to include contravisions, nameplates, running-in boards, floor media, stair risers, platform banner advertising and ambient signage.

Concourse Initiative's sponsorship business is growing more than 200 per cent annually and is the only outdoor and ambient specialist to offer full train station sponsorship on a national scale.

"The sponsorship of high traffic venues such as railway stations offered MyJobGroup a valuable opportunity to reach potential candidates as they commute," said Jonathan Larkins, Sponsorship Manager at Concourse Initiatives.

"After all, people are likely to be much more receptive to ads for a local recruitment firm at either the start or the end of a hard day in the office".

Concourse Initiatives has secured the rights to brand over 1,500 train stations throughout the UK, the station sponsorship format offers its clients a comprehensive and unmatched range of venues for awareness branding.

Scott Davidson, Marketing Manager at MyJobGroup, said: "Station sponsorship offered us a unique opportunity to reach thousands of commuters every day and build a lasting impression.

"It is the most cost-effective way to put the brand in front of a highly relevant local audience".

Established by MIG in 1998, Concourse Initiatives offers clients a comprehensive and unrivalled range of venues for sponsorship, product sampling and awareness.

Concourse Initiatives has grown its sponsorship business by more than 200 per cent in the first year and is the only firm to offer train station sponsorship on a substantial scale.

Concourse Initiatives' contract accounts for more than 75 per cent of the market.

Exclusive deals have been secured by Concourse Initiatives with First Great Western, First Scotrail, First Capital Connect, Trans Pennine Express, East Midland Trains, National Express East Anglia, C2C and London Midland.

Concourse Initiatives has also developed excellent, long-standing relationships with a vast number of venue owners, helping them to maximise the full potential of their exhibition and promotional space.
