eType wins Ministry of Sound ad contract

Leading music and lifestyle brand Ministry of Sound has appointed premium ad network eType to sell all global ad inventory across its range of sites.

The exclusive deal sees eType take on the account, previously managed in-house, following a six-way competitive pitch involving rival networks, Unanimis, Monetise, w00t! Media, Ad2One and AdLink.

eType will concentrate on increasing advertising revenues and site awareness globally, with a focus towards rich media, integrations and more site-specific campaigns.

It also generates over 300,000 video streams, 200,000 podcast downloads and a monthly syndicated audience of 1.6m to the online radio service, Ministry of Sound Radio.

eType will also be tasked with selling all video, online radio, podcast and mobile advertising, allowing advertisers unrivalled access to Ministry of Sound's young, early adopting audience.
