Recent research by digital specialists Logan Tod suggests that Christmas online shopping alone will reach GBP10 billion this year, whilst Verdict Research predicts that online spend in the UK will triple over the next five years.
With 25 per cent of all sales during the forthcoming festive period expected to be made online, according to InternetRetailing.net, the importance of a fully optimised and easily searchable online store has never been greater.
"It is paramount that all retailers have a strong online presence all year round, allowing customers to find and purchase the desired items with as little fuss as possible," explained Rich Beattie, Vice President of Mercado Europe.
