Maritz Research attains ISO 20252 certification

A Maritz product story
Edited by the Marketingservicestalk editorial team Oct 15, 2007

Maritz Research has confirmed its cutting-edge role in high-class market research in Great Britain.

In August Maritz Research became one of the first companies to be officially awarded the ISO Standard 20252.

This standard, which was developed especially for the market research sector, guarantees clients the highest quality and transparency throughout the entire market research process, and does this on an international level.

"We are proud to be among the first companies in Britain to satisfy the strict requirements of the ISO Standard", said Wendy Goodier, Associate Director of Maritz Research.

"It is nice to have confirmation from an independent source that our quality management meets the highest demands.

"To ensure that research is managed professionally and to increase quality assurance within the market research sector, it would be good if as many companies as possible were to follow our example".

The ISO Standard 20252 encompasses the whole operative research process, including data collection, processing and evaluation as well as reporting.

Furthermore, it sets the standards for the quality management system as well as for the co-operation between a company and its various clients.

The new ISO Standard 20252 represents a unified, international quality standard and makes it possible to compare both methods and processes.

Maritz Research is one of the world's leading market research companies.

Since 1973, the subsidiary of the US group Maritz has been assisting companies to recognise and unleash the potential of their products, staff, business partners and customers.

To do this, Maritz Research makes the requirements, attitudes and behaviour of customers and staff objectively measurable and comprehensible.

Maritz Research offers a wide range of strategic and operative solutions with a focus on the automobile, transport, financial services, IT, hospitality and pharmaceuticals industries.

In Europe, Maritz Research maintains branches in Great Britain and Germany.
