Epoch wins Unilever brand activation

Bristol-based retail packaging and brand specialist Epoch Design, now part of the fast-growing Loewy family, has secured a brief to develop style guides for every Unilever brand.
The agency aims to deliver over 40 guides covering iconic brands from across the entire Unilever food, home and personal care portfolio, stretching from Lynx to Marmite Epoch has been contracted to carry out this work over a two year period

The agency begins work immediately designing all master brand style guides.
These are a repository for all market, brand and design facts and include brand history and background, details of consumer markets, design dos and don'ts, logo usage and other specifications.
The guides will be produced in DVD and pdf format and will be refreshed every six months.
All of Unilever's below the line agencies and in-house marketing teams will receive the guidelines.
They are a vital tool to ensure that marketing campaigns follow brand parameters and there this is consistency across all communications activity.
Epoch Design's trademark creative talent has won it an international client list, among them Coca-Cola Great Britain, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Unilever Group, Diageo, Oral-B, AkzoNobel, Nokia, Ferrero Rocher and Kickers and was a key factor in its recent acquisition by Loewy.
