A new collection of licensed National Gallery Box Prints will be showcased by King and McGaw at next month's Spring Fair in Birmingham, reports Licensing.biz.

The prints will feature iconic works from the Gallery including Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Monet's Thames below Westminster and Turner's Fighting Temeraire Printed on fabric specially developed by King and McGaw, and stretched over a wooden frame, each print has been colour-proofed by the Gallery against the original painting

"We're excited about the launch of the new Box Prints - a range which speaks volumes about the authority of the National Gallery brand and which we are confident has significant commercial potential," said Kate Barker, business development director at the National Gallery Company.

"The National Gallery is looking to build further on its licensing activities having recently launched a Style Guide, which provides both inspiration and guidance for licensees to explore National Gallery content.

"And with some of the world's great masters in its collection - from da Vinci and Rembrandt to Constable and Cezanne - the National Gallery brand will give licensees an advantage in a highly competitive marketplace.".
