ZIP offers precise door-drop targeting
The Letterbox Consultancy has launched a new targeting and door-drop service called Zoom-In Precision.
The door-drop industry has long been synonymous with postal sector targeting tools, which have helped transform the medium over the last decade or more Postal sector targeting can however be wasteful
Although targeted postal sector index values can be high, target market penetration levels can still be relatively low.
Zoom-In Precision, or ZIP, provides users with an opportunity to target "hundreds" of households rather than postal sectors, which can commonly be 2,500 or more.
The power of the targeting product can increase by at least tenfold as a result.
At a time when environmental issues are higher up the agenda than ever before, ZIP distributions provide users with an opportunity to deliver fewer items yet increase the level of contact with their core target market, maximising the use of budgets and potentially increasing ROI.
Graham Dodd, Managing Director of The Letterbox Consultancy, said: "ZIP will not replace traditional postal sector targeting for all clients, but it can for some and can work alongside existing plans for others.
"It's a perfect tool for clients with niche markets or those looking to door drop samples, coupons, catalogues or anything of high value.
"We can make the service available now to 8+ million households now across the UK and expect more households to become available during the year.
"The system is very easy to access, it's affordable and test package proposals can be created on request.
"ZIP is also a perfect platform for past or non-users to test the medium against their current marketing plan and see precisely what door drops can deliver".
